Welcome to the Lyman Youth Football Associations website.

   Thank you for choosing Pop Warner, the only youth football and cheerleading sports program in the country that stresses academic achievement through its “no pass no play” rule. Since its inception in 1929 until today with over 400,000 participants, Pop Warner has been a leader in youth sports.

   Lyman Pop Warner is a full contact tackle football and competitive cheerleading program, which teaches the fundamentals of football and cheerleading. While also stressing that teamwork, safety, and hard work are the keys to achieving your goals. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer program whose coaches undergo nationally certified ongoing hands on and classroom training. Please take the time to thank your coaches for their hard work; and help us to grow by volunteering, because as you know, many hands lighten the load.

We are inviting each and everyone of you to attend our Parent meeting this 

Friday July 25, 2014

Player Registration 4pm - 6pm | Parent meeting 6pm - 7pm

First Baptist Church of Altamonte Springs

At the parent meeting you will be able to: 

  • Get information on the upcoming season
  • Meet your coaches
  • Purchase All New Lyman Greyhounds merchandise
  • Register New Players (4pm-6pm)
  • Turn in missing paperwork for you player’s registration(4pm - 6pm)
  • Make payments (4pm - 6pm)
  • Get your players physicals for only $10 on site with Dr. Cannizzaro (4pm - 6pm)

 

First day of Practice is Friday Aug. 1st & Equipment hand out dates are:

  • Saturday August 2nd 12pm - 2pm (Midgets & Jr. Midgets only)
  • Sunday August 3rd 4pm - 6pm (Pee Wee & Jr. Pee Wee only)
  • Monday August 4th 7pm - 8:30pm (Mity Mite & Tiny Mite only)

EACH PLAYERS PAPER WORK & PAYMENTS MUST BE COMPLETED TO BE ABLE TO START PRACTICE & RECEIVE EQUIPMENT!

 

A List of items every player must have turned in before being able to start practicing & receive equipment:

  • Copy of a valid Birth Certificate 
  • 3 copies of a FULL 2013/2014 report card – must include the full school year or multiple report cards if the child attended multiple schools 
  • Originally signed 2014 Pop Warner Parent/Player Contract 
  • Originally signed 2014 Pop Warner Physical Form – the physical must be dated in the 2014 calendar year (this can be done at parent meeting)
