Welcome to the LYFA website. Thank you for choosing Pop Warner, the only youth football and cheerleading sports program in the country that stresses academic achievement through its “no pass no play” rule. Since its inception in 1929 until today with over 400,000 participants, Pop Warner has been a leader in youth sports.

Lyman Pop Warner is a full contact tackle football and competitive cheerleading program, which teaches the fundamentals of football and cheerleading. While also stressing that teamwork, safety, and hard work are the keys to achieving your goals. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer program whose coaches undergo nationally certified ongoing hands on and classroom training. Please take the time to thank your coaches for their hard work; and help us to grow by volunteering, because as you know, many hands lighten the load.

As commissioner, I believe that if all your child learns at LYFA is football or cheer we’ve failed as coaches. The principles of teamwork, discipline, and hard work will carry our players through life and build the leaders of tomorrow.

I’m looking forward to another successful year for both our football and cheer teams.

LYFA family, we need your help. This season LYFA will help stock the Lyman High School Food Pantry. This is a pantry to help students that are homeless or who's family has fallen on hard time have a meal over the week-ends. So we are asking for your help and ask if you would bring an item from the list to registration. Please let's help those who are in need. Food Pantry Items.

Please join us in welcoming Becky Hessler as our new Cheer Coordinator. We are excited about this new addition to our league.

Registration for the 2012 Football and Cheer Season will be 05/19/12 @ 11am til 2pm. Please see registration page for additional information.

Some teams are in need of assistant coaches and team moms, if you are interesting in volunteering, please fill out the 2012 Volunteer Application and submit on registration dates. All forms must be received prior to 07/01/2012 to allow for review and background checks.
